Learn More About Second Brain Immunity

  • Biomedical care looks for the underlying imbalances behind a child’s symptoms, using specialized testing and targeted treatments that work safely. Dr. Angela has spent nearly two decades helping families uncover the root causes behind their child’s challenges. MAPS Fellows now serve on HHS’s IACC.

  • We believe in keeping a one-to-one doctor-parent communication as our top priority. We add one supplement at a time to know what works best for your child and talk on a weekly basis. Specialized testing allows for more precise protocols.

  • Dr. Angela Karvounis has been doing biomedical treatments on children with autism and other developmental delays for almost 20 years and has seen many children improve dramatically. We need more research to refine these treatments, but what we know is that these children suffer from imbalances of the immune, nervous, and digestive systems, mitochondria, epigenetics and more. Our goal is to find what’s imbalanced in YOUR child.

For your child

You Kept Asking.

Every appointment, every late-night search, every ‘there must be something more for my child.’ You never stopped, and you were right not to.

How it works

We Look for Why.

When your child is struggling with sleep, focus, behavior or language, there’s usually a reason, and we’ll spend the time finding it. Your child’s immune system, nervous system and gut can all play a part.

Every detail matters

We start with your child’s full history, from pregnancy to today. Sleep, food, illnesses, behavior. Small details often tell us the most.

Looking inside the body

Testing shows what’s happening inside your child’s body, like the gut, immune system, nutrients and more. We look at the results together, so you understand what we’re seeing.

Careful monitoring, one step at a time

Your child’s body tells us what it needs. We add one supplement at a time and watch closely, so we always know what’s helping.
